This may seem dumb. I have always used Palm stuff. I am very excited to switch to Axim and the Pocket PC. But I don't understand, Does Pocket PC have a desktop like Palm to enter names and stuff or do you have to use outlook. My Axim is not due for a few more days yet. I just thought I might start entering info in outlook early, if outlook was the only way to go.
PocketPC PDA's are like having a Windows computer in the palm of your hand. Palms are more like having a personal organizer....in the palm of your hand. A PowerPC PDA can do eveything your Palm can do.....and more. It can do it faster too.

You should be able to export from Palm software and import into Outlook. Using Outlook on the PC and Inbox on the PPC seems to be the easiest way to view and sync data simply because it is preinstalled and ready to go. There are several other apps out there that will give you more options based on what your needs are.
