SOURCE: Replacement of Door handle

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Disconnect the Touch Pad/LED Assembly ribbon connector from the left side of the Central Control Unit and release it from the wiring harness brackets on the right side of the washer top

Remove the detergent dispenser drawer by pressing down on the release tab at the back of the drawer and pulling it completely out of the washer.

Once the drawer is removed, remove the screw in the recessed hole next to the drawer opening. Release the tab securing the right side of the console to the washer

Open the washer door and place a flat-bladed screwdriver into the slot in the bottom center of the console. Push the console up to release center console tab. Be sure the ribbon cable clears the cabinet frame.

The Touch Pad/LED Assembly is removed as a single unit and contains the Push Buttons, LEDs, cable, etc. The buttons can be replaced separately

Removing glass from whirlpool oven door

I've removed all the screws that I can see. Looks like the brackets that hold on the handle are keeping the whole thing from coming apart, but the brackets are behind the glass and the screws enter from the inside meaning that I will have to remove the glass to be able to remove the handle.

How to replace inner glass panel on Neff H7871 microwave

Hi Bill, I am having a same problem I have managed to order the glass from:-

http://www.4neff.co.uk/cgi-bin/product.pl?PID=876912&query=Neff%20H7871N1GB%2f01&model=H7871N1GB&path=127858

1. Open the door.

2. Take out the 2 screws just behind the handle, on the inside of the door, the door should flop down at the handle end.

3. Hold the door handle and pull the door out. It is only housed in by a slip in hooks at the bottom end.

4. Once you remove the door you will see the inner metal mesh and the inner door behind it.

5. Remove the 16 screws holding the inner glass with a special star type screw driver bit no T30.

6. Once you done that the glass housing holding the inner glass can be carefully prised free and taken off the inner door assembley.

7. Once you done that remove and inner glass, and be carefull to leave the glass glass seal intact, clean around the frame housing and the seal then replace the new inner glass and reverse the process.

PS. Becareful of the inner door once you've removed the outer door, as the hinges holding the inner door tend to shut quickly as there is less weight on the hinges.

It will do the job if you follow these instructions.Good Luck. AL

Exterior rear door handle on Honda Accord 2001

To Remove Door Panel on 2001 Honda Accord:

A: To remove the plastic piece with the door lock button and door handle connected to it:

1- Remove the screw in the middle located behind a plastic cover button
2- Push (slide) the whole assembly Forward (toward front of car)
Besides the screw, it is held in place by 3 hooks on the backside that hook into holes in the metal door frame
3- Now unhook handle from small metal bar going through door by pushing (toward door) plastic clip (blue?) off of the bar, then the bar will come out of the clip hole, thus releasing the handle.
4- Depress little grey button /bar (purple painted on it)on elec. connector to seperate connector, thus releasing door lock switch

Now the whole assembly (metal handle, door lock switch, and plastic piece) will come off door panel

B: The door is held on by 2-screws, 7-plastic snaps/plugs, and 1-plastic plug.

The screws are located: bottom of hand hold and the other behind the handle, both covered by little covers that have to be pryed off to access the screws.(hint: the screw with the built in spacer goes behind the handle when you are trying to reinstall)
The 7-plastic snaps: 3 across bottom and 2 on each side. Not visible, they are mounted to the inside of the panel.
The 1-plastic plug is visible at the upper front of the panel and is the same color as the surrounding trim

C: Take off the big plastic triangle piece above the door panel and behind the mirror. Pull/pry off. It has 2 snaps holding it on. one near bottom and one near the front.

D: Light lens prys off from bottom. Unscrew (1/4 turn) the light assembly with bulb still intact from backside of panel

E: Remove the Hand-Hold/window switch assembly:

Microwave door handle replacement

Solution for GE Spacemaker Ovens (my model is JVM1650BH05)

1- Remove door by lifting it out of hinges. You will need to remove grille first (2 set screws).
2- Carefully pry off the plastic inside door trim. Use a fine knife or putty knife. There are 10 tabs holding the trim from behind. It's OK if you break a tab! Try to pull out as straight as possible.
3- Once the trim is off, remove the 2 visible screws that hold the door handle. NOTE: There are 2 invisible screws so you are not done yet!
4- You now need to remove the metal ring that holds the latches. To do that, grab the metal ring and using your other hand, release each plastic tab one by one (same tabs as above).
5- Once the metal ring is loose, you will see 2 screws. Remove them if they are still there.
6- Position your new handle and attach using the first 2 screws.
7- Reposition the metal ring by re-snapping it in place. Install the other 2 screws.
8- Replace the plastic trim by snapping it back in place
9- Reinstall door and grille. Tell wife or hubby that you are a genius!

Bonus: use metal washers when screwing down the 2 first screws.
