I tried to loginto my Yahoo account but could not even after correct mail id & passowrk, i have entered to security, and customer service asked me some questions, where i have given correct zip code, but unable to answer the secutiry question, as i do not remember the answer could not answer hence mail id locked, . Lastly the alternate mail id given was very old could not open even that mail id as i forgot the password. what do i do my id is : [email protected] kindly assist me on this matter because i don't know why this thing happen..

Try this, I forgot my PASSWORD. After which you will be asked to give answers to the two (2) security questions you provided when signing up for the said Yahoo account.

Send an mail describing your problem to Yahoo! Account Security Department e-mail address: [email protected] mentioning the problem and all the details you can think of (like when you last accessed your account etc).

or

Call Yahoo!: 1-408-349-1572 or 1+ 866-562-7219 then press on #2 and explain to a customer service person what happened. They will ask you to answer certain questions and then they will compare your original info with the changed info.

I recommend calling them.

this is a glitch on yahoo, a mail server overload. wait for 2 hours or so and try again. if not try to contact yahoo customer service

Click I can't access my account on yahoo mail page.
Select forgot password. If you forgot your password.
Click on Next.
Enter your ID and code shown below.
Then verify your ID and reset your password.
Note make sure you provide the correct details.

Check whether the time and date of the computer is correct. If its correct try using a different web browser.

It can be reset if his/her details hasn't been changed. To do this, open http://www.mail.yahoo.com/ click I Cannot Access My Account - My account has been compromised - provide the Security Answer, a password reset email will be sent to the alternate email address. If he/she can't remember the security answer and date or birth provided during the registration, the success is narrow. You can try contacting the yahoo customer care, but i can guarantee you, they will ask you many questions. Anyway good luck.

You need to do a google search for 'Yahoo Mail Error UDB:1'

Then the first result is a 'yahoo answers' question someone asked, the answer there solves it.

You have to delete the yahoo cookie from your browser.

I use firefox, so you go to Tools>Options>Privacy> button 'show cookies' delete yahoo cookie.

Go back to yahoo login page. Username and password.. and it will fix it.

I had the same problem.


It is called a UDB 1 error, often happens right after you change your password.

It's ******* pathetic. You can write an email from ANOTHER account to yahoo customer service for some slow, unreliable help though.
