Light in the fridge section is sometimes on and sometimes off. It now is mostlly off. I tested the bulbs with a continuity tester and they tested fine. Could the switch be the problem?

Try and replace the light bulb. Subzero control panels are dark and appear to be broken when light bulb is dead.

Try wiggling light switch side to side kinda hard, (the light switch is the one on the left) it should come on, showing you its a bad lt. switch.if that fails install 1 new 40watt,(long) appliance bulb. but it is going to be the switch or the bulb considering there wasn't any wiring work done on unit. part# for the light switch is 3060140 make sure the back of the switch is white not black (black is a fan switch) Good Luck !!!

I wiggled the switch on the left and the light and control panel light came on immediately. Saved us time and money. Thank you very much!

I did exactly that. I wiggled the left switch and the fridge light and electronic control panel light also turned on. Saved us time and money. Thank you very much!

Same here, but I have to wiggle the switch several times every time I open the door. As a homeowner, how do I replace the switch? I tried to remove old one but could not figure how... Thanks much.

Lights in fridge and control panel went out. 2 switches at the top of a Model 680. Wiggled the left one back and forth and all the lights came on! Thank you whoever you are that put up the answer!

The switch to the light is above the doors. Eventually wiggling did not help anymore so I just replaced the switch. If you have a screwdriver you can do it too. Remove the protective panel, then unscrew the switch, unplug, replace, then put everything back. 10 minute job. EZ.

My sub zero 600 series has no light in fridge nor on control panel

There will be two switches per compartment, one is the fan switch, the other is for the lights... Remove the top compartment vent panel, the switches will be accessed from above... remove the wires and push them down into the fridge... you can test them by setting a meter to "continuity" test and pressing the paddle of the switch to see if it lets current through.

On sub zero 690 like to change bulb in lighted electronic control panel

you will have to remove the light shield, remove the plastic trim that says the model number in front of the light shield, then the 2 screws holding the side cover on the left side of the fridge section. Then the cover will need to be pushed towards the rear of the fridge then tipped out at the front. It has springs holding it in the back. That should access the bulb you need to change

Sub Zero 650/s control board light is out and inside lights out but fridge works.

Hi,

On this model, the lights work with the light switch, if it stick all the light in that section will not work. Parts number 7014646 (about 20 bucks) If only the control display is not illuminated then the bulb behind the control is the only problem.

I hope this helps.

Sub Zero model 680 F, inside ref area seems damp. Food also has moisture in ref section.

the air should be dry and packages not wet . I would think the defrost cycle is not working properly . may have a drain pluged or a defrost timer that is not supplying the power or the defrost terminator is cycling off at too low a tempt . . most common would be the terminator . . ck the drain and replace the terminator . there is also a drain heater that can be install if you find that to be the problem .. ..and when doing all these things clean the cond coil up on top where the fan cools the compresor . very imporant. mm

Refrig lights go on and off intermittently when opening and closing refrig door

check door light switch with ohmmeter. Check for melted insulation near light "terminator". Look for wiring diagram in ziplock behind compressor grille. Second switch at door turns compressor off when door opened. I had these problems with a 695 which I would assume is probably similar in design.
