I have a Minolta Dimage G500 Digital Camera. The camera itself I am thrilled with however, the software that came with it and Minolta support are horrible. I encountered a problem last week. I installed Kodak EasyShare (which is free software avaliable on the Kodak website). As soon as I connected my camera to my computer via USB after installing the software nothing happened! It seemed as if the Kodak uninstalled or overrode the Minolta software (not sure if that's possible but the problem occured as soon as the software was installed). I've tried uninstalling the carmera multiple ways. But It won't let me reinstall it. It seems if it was all erased from my computer, but yet when I put the USB in it won't reinstall it. I'm hopin gyou can help. I'e exhauseted the Minolta manual, tried the Add/Remove Programs-(it's not listed). I'm hoping somebody here can help me and walk me through what I need to do. My operating system is Windows 98. Thanks in advance
You have installed a conflicting software, the other one overrides your minolta software and kick your minolta out of your computer. the only method I always use is to format the computer, maybe you installed a kodak software meant to work in other os such as windows xp.
