Deleted Raw Folder

I accidentally delete a RAW file folder and lost about 20 files but I caught my mistake before I emptied the trash bin. But wen I got out and tried to recover the deleted folder, I could not find any file in the trash bin. Where did I delete the folder to? Anyone knows? Do you suppose to delete anything into trash bin first and stays there until you empty the bin? Thanks and you will be my hero if you can help me locating the folder. Oh yeah, I am using PC Windows ME.

If the files are not in the trash can, try PhotoRescue on your hard disk (link is in my post above) - it can also find deleted files on your hard disk.

Probably you just deleted it into oblivion. On floppy disks in Windows, if you delete something, it's really gone - there's usually no trash can on a floppy disk. Probably it works the same on a CF card, which is also regarded as a kind of removable disk by Windows. Or was the file already on your hard disk?
