No, if an IAS image is edited it will fail the verification test. If you need to edit an image, a copy of an unaltered Epson-protected image can be made for editing purposes, keeping the original image unaltered.

OCR

To scan a document for editing purposes, you will need OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. OCR software is not included with your model.
OCR software interprets the scanned document for editing purposes. The Epson driver alone only scans documents as image files and is not capable of this interpretation.
