I dropped my phone in water and it want go off car kit car kit

Get a coolant if dye kit at autozone or similar. Put the dye in tank and run vehicle. When coolant tank is low use flashlight in kit to look for the crack

Im sorry to hear about your problem.

If this problem happened directly after getting water on your phone then it could have been a result of shorting out and putting the phone in car kit mode (the mode for when you are using it along with a car kit) . If this is the case then your phone can't be fixed.

If the problem did not appear after the water damage then you may want to refer to the manual to find instructions on switching the phone off of cat kit mode.

what dave said.......some times these kits can play up.....if you see the light on the button on all the time then you need to cut the power to the kit and then reconnect it, this should solve your problems.

I have the same phone. I have had that same problem before. What i did to fix it was to take a blowdryer (on the cool setting -not warm or hot) and take the battery out and blow the phone with it. The reason it says carkit is because moisture got into the phone somehow. Mine first started saying carkit when my friend dunked my phone in a cup of water. I hope this helps you with your phone. Also if the blowdryer doesnt work then try using a can of pressurized air.

i wiggled a knife in the right side of the charger port like the other guy said and it worked!

Go to settings and change the normal mode and re staret the phone settings will actvate.

Car kit mode is usually caused by debris in the phone's cable connector (at the bottom of the phone). The debris causes two or more contacts to be electrically connected to each other, causing the phone to think it's connected to a car kit. Remove the battery from the phone and clean the cable connector contacts with some rubbing alcohol and the corner of a towel. Also, try using an opened paperclip to scrape the contacts in the connector, this will remove any corrosion that may have built up.

try teking the phone and have the antenna replaced or service that should correct any problems that you may have.

was there water in the sink at the time?
if so check the connections on the base if there is green corrosion on it the the damage is done you will have to find someone who will repair water damaged phones.
If no water and just the drop that caused the prob then try removing the battery while the phone is still turned on this may shock it back

there is internal damage an easy fix is to plug it into the car charger and it will only work on the charger you should have let the phone sit out and dry with the battery detatched. my phone did the same thing about 3 months ago. if that doesn't work you'll need a new phone
