Guitar Hero Guitar stopped working

We have a Playstation 2 game system. Suddenly the wireless guitar stopped working on Guitar III game. The batteries were changed but the red light flashes 13 times when a button is pressed. Where do you suggest the problem is? In the receiver or guitar itself?

I recently bought a playstation 3 and guitar hero: world tour along with the 2 guitars from a friend. The playstation works fine but one of the wireless guitars won't turn on, we have bought new batteries...

Could just be broken, make sure that the batteries are in the correct way (+/-). Are both of the adapters lighting up?

I have a wireless Kramer guitar for my PS2 that works for Rock Band (the original game), but it's not being recognised by Guitar Hero (the original game) - is it not compatible with the earlier Guitar Hero...

Yes the guitar is probrobuly the problem. It wont connect with older game guitar hero games.

My Pelican WIreless guitar for ps2 Doesnt work. Ive tried changing batteries and all we get is the blue light to flicker,then it shuts down. WHat can I do? Its 2 months old...

Replace it with a Gibson Les Paul and you'll never need a blue light...plus the sound will be soooo much better.

My guitar hero guitar wont turn on

If it's a wireless one: The battery pack may have a broken power cable inside the guitar or the power switch could be faulty. If it's a minor fault like that and the shop won't replace it then it is definitely worth opening up to check for obvious faults.

Bought a new PS2 and now my Guitar Hero Guitar won't sync

the same problem happened to me, and i just pressed the sync buttons on the guitar and the wireless adaptor at the same time and let it sit. it started syncing fine after that. I hope i helped! :)

I have guitar hero 3 for ps2 and the wireless adapter isn't lighting up. We just put new batteries in the guitar and i know its compatible, it worked before

When u put in the resever ( that black thing u put in) Press the buttom on in press all the buttons on the guitar 3 times and then it should work :)
