It's telling you that the clock needs to be set. Go into the setup menu and set the date and time. If the problem persists then the clock battery needs to be replaced.

Where to find the manual (pdf) for Nikon CoolPix S630 digital camera

Sometimes , it is convenient to have a soft copy of your user manual. You may also require it as you lost your original printed manual. This tip will guide you to your digital manual and explain how to download it.

Printed manuals are normally available at a cost from the product manufacturer. Please see the link below to contact the manufacturer and find out how to replace your printed manual.

To download a soft copy of your manual , please Click Here to go to the retrevo page for your manual. This is a excellent site that maintains a manual and product database of thousands of products available free to download in PDF format.

Please note that you will need pdf viewer software to be able to view the downloaded manual. I can recommend Adobe reader which is available for free download at the following location :

CLICK HERE to go to Adobe Reader download site.

To download you manual from retrievo , follow the LINK. You will be taken to the product page. The following images are used as an example.

Another , more complete manual is available from the Nikon site HERE.

When your on this page , you can select to see reviews , prices , specs , an overview of the product and of coarse , the manual. You can just hit the big red manual button to proceed.

I cannot get the information display off the viewer panel of my Nikon D60 can you assist?

You can get rid of the information screen by pressing the [i] button at the bottom left. However you'll still have to use the viewfinder to take your photos. Nikon didn't allow the LCD to be used for LiveView until they introduced the D3 and D300 a year after the D60.

What is the meaning of symbols on Nikon Coolpix L120

All of the symbols are described and explained in the manual. If you need a copy of the manual, you may download one here.
If you're referring to a red flashing clock, that indicates that you need to set the date and time.

Red eye

Greetings mccombs7,

There should be a button corresponding with a lightning bolt symbol. When red eye reduction (pre flash) is on, then there is a symbol with an eyeball next to it. Depress the button until you get to the desired setting, which should be the lightning bolt alone.

I hope this helps!
