Problem first started with the power button flashing 3 times and still not turning on. It woulnd take about 3 min., then 15min., then 1hr, then 3hrs, of pushing the power button to get the tv to turn on. We started not turning off the tv so we didn't have deal with the hassle. Then after a few weeks of this prossess if you were lucky enough to get the tv on in the middle of your show the screen would start flashing white with static. It started flashing about every 30 min or so and then moved to about every 5 min. I know someone who had a simular problem with a flat screen and said they fixed it by changeing out a lamp. I would like to know if anyone knows if this tv has a lamp that can be changed, where to get this lamp, and if they think it will work?

I think I have the same problem. It was working fine, turned it off then after about 2 hours turned it on again, didn't turn on except the flashing light on the power button. What could be the cause?
