Sony DSC-P32 Memory Stick Error, "C:13:01"? When I went to review pics on memory card, camera would not scroll through and it would immediately shut off. Assuming it was the batteries, I...

Hi,

The C:13:01 error code is the self diagnosis display of the camera to identify the cause of the issue with the Camera. This error code indicates the issue with the medium used in the Camera. You can try few steps to check if the issue can be resolved.
Try using different Memory Stick in the Camera.
Make sure that the Memory Stick used is compatible with the Camera. (The maximum capacity that can be used in the Camera is of 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.)
Format the Memory Stick in the Camera and check if it works. (Formatting the Memory Stick will delete all the files saved in it).
This may happen if the files in the Memory Stick is damaged or corrupted.
Try turning the camera power off and on.
Remove and re-insert the Memory Stick several times.
Insert another Memory Stick in the Camera to check if the issue is with the particular Memory Stick.
Try resetting the Camera and check if it helps. To reset the Camera, press the RESET button located inside the jack cover using a sharp pointed object.

If the issue happens with different Memory Sticks after performing all the steps, service may be required.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Memory Stick for my DSC P-72 3.2 mega pixel camera is not working. The larger stick is no longer available. Will the camera take the adapter for the smaller disc and a 2gig stick?

your camera is only available for use with a regular memory stick . it's not compatible with pro memory sticks (or ms greater than 256mb). so even if you you a memory stick adaptor with a 2gb ms, it will not work with cam. you'll need regular ms with has a maximum capacity of up to 128mb only.although those ms are no longer available from sony, you can do an internet search (like google) to check availability of the ms from online dealers.you can type in the ms models: msh128 or mshm128a.(that's a duo size ms w/included adaptor).you'll be suprise to find out it's still available online.hope this helps.tnx:)

I insert a memory stick and it says "No memory Stick" although it will take and record pictures . Does anyone know where i can purchase a 128 Memory stick for the DSC -F707?

You should purchase online from some secure seller.
Like here, its Sandisk Homepage.
search for the compatible Card from the bottom right tab.

Also Note that DSC -F707 doesn't support more than 128-Mb cards.

If helpful, Kindly DO RATE!
Best Regards.

Sony CX-12 Camcorder gives message when memory stick inserted

Hi!
This is a feature and not a defect of the CX-12 that reminds the user that the memory stick inserted might not be able to record the data from the camera effectively. HD video requires a memory stick with a relatively fast data read/write speed, and the CX-12 recommends not using any other stick that is not Mark 2.
Fortunately, though, as you have found out, it does not affect the camera's ability to record in non-Mark 2 sticks.
Hope this helps!

Transform Duo Stick into an SD card ~ Possible?

Hi Qwin,

Although you cannot directly use your Duo Stick in a camera which supports SD, you are able to purchase a memory card reader to support both formats. This means that you can transfer data from the Duo Stick or the SD onto your computer, and then put the data onto the other card.

Thank you,
Jason,
