Question about CorningWare K4903 Slow Cooker

Corningware k4903 slow cooker

My slow cooker did not come with instruction please tell me how the unit works. We have tried to turn the on and all that happens is it only go to warm.

I had the same problem and I had to ask my wife. You must first select the cook time (button on left). The more time you select, the higher the mode (warm, medium, high). Then you turn the unit on. I guess the unit calculates which mode based on the amount of time you select in step one.

Not nearly as intuitive as it should be.

My son dropped the crockpot, and the crock broke. I was wanting to see if you sold the inside crock as a replacement part instead of having to buy a brand new crock pot?

When you set the cook time it goes to warm will it change after it warms up

with this slow cooker it is automatic for temp settings you set the time and the rest is automatic, 1-6 ohurs starts on low and 7 and above start on high it worked out great

Need a replacement knob for Corning Crockpot Model NO SC-3544

Go to the Hard ware store and buy a knob from a universal variable light fixture, there are many to chose from.
- $2 in the cabinet hardware section of Home Depot. Now have a stylish silver & white handle on my crock pot lid. The bolt and grommet were re-used, several little tiny o-rings were added as spacers, along with a drop of Loc-tite.

Call directory assistance for the 800 # for Corningware, and ask for customer service. Give them the model number and they will ship a new lid, or tell you where to get one locally.

If you choose the auto selection the slow cooker will cook for three hours on high then will automatically reduce to the low setting.

Instruction manual

When you plug in the slowcooker do not press the on/off butoon first. Press the tome button to desired hours. 1-6 hours will atomatically set on high, 7-10 hours will set to low.
