Sounds like an IPK2. try just entering the forward destination in the first 2 fields. Why would the person being forwarded need calls? If you are forwarding his phone he can't receive calls. unless your just forwarding to vmail. cheaper rates at ldtsnj.com

Call forward, off-premise is available on the NEC Electra Professional phone system if you have the Level II system (metal cabinet, not plastic) and you have system software level 700 (7.00) or higher. To get your system software level, press <FNC> - 3 from any display telephone when idle. The procedure to forward is (with phone idle): press <FNC> - dial 60, dial trunk access code (usually - 9), dial telephone number, press <FNC>. Additionally, your station class must be set to allow this feature (by default it is not allowed) and you may need trunk-to-trunk capability turned on in system programming (which is also, by default, not allowed). However...WARNING! I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you are technically savvy, as one wrong move could totally mess up all of your phones!!!

This manual will not only tell you how to fix this issue, but how to pretty much fix/change all programming for the NEC Electra Elite DTU-16D-2 phones.

Call forward off net needs to be allowed in Class of Service. If it is not than it must be programmed in. If it is than use your forward all code enter 9 and the full phone number.

Thankfully I have found a solution that has worked.

A 'winking' (flashing) feature button indicates the station is in call forward - all calls mode.

To cancel this setting do the following

Lift the handset or press speaker
Dial the access code 4 + 2 (set as default)
Receive confirmation tone and restore handset or press speaker

For the DTU phone on an NEC Elite system:
Memory Block 4-12
put in the port number and the Lkey of the extension you want to make a headset key.
Programmin on a 16button phone, Lkey 11 needs to be lit and will display H SET to verify.

For the DTP phone, it is generally on an NEC 2000, which is entirely different.
