Question about HP Jornada 540 Pocket PC

Software Upgrade Where/How do I upgrade the packaged software that came with my 540? Such as IE, Word, Excel, etc.

As best as I reemember there is no way to do it as the OS and apps are burned into ROM. The 568 was the only Jornada that could be software updated.

It would be a good idea to upgrade from IE6 to IE8. There have been many security fixes and upgrades to IE since IE6 was released and even after IE7 too.

I would suggest upgrading to the latest version possible for your computer!
