No mail app/client found on my Palm Zire 72 :(

Hi everyone I hotsync my palm zire 72 for the first time today with my windows pc (dell) running microsoft xp professional. I wanted to sync my microsoft outlook 2000 mail with my palm but I now found out - I can't! There's no mail client on my palm! What gives? Can someone tell me how do I go about to enable my palm to sync with outlook mail? Do I have to download a mail client? If so, where can I find one and how do I do it? Thanks very much!

Palm zire 72 will not syn with pc running win 8.1

You find a fix to that problem, and the (Palm) world will beat a path to your door. HP, Palm's new owner, has attempted a fix for Win7, but Win8/8.1 may become the impossible hurdle.

Good luck!

Import photos from zire 71 to windows vista 32 bit

Check and see if you can download a "mediaimpressions" driver. I have found it is great for downloading photos from any device. GOOD LUCK

How can i install my palm up to the computer without the software? where can i find it?

Hello, Rosilin.

No problem. Here's the link for your Zire 72. You just need to choose Windows or Mac and download and install the Hotsync Manager software.

Hope this helps.

Fatal Exception every time I sync.

Check docs to go and Avantgo Documents to Go and Avantgo are usually the culprit with me; if you use these try to reinstall. Check (delete and reinstall) "complex" applications, build to be able to use databases on the SD card. The final straw is the procedure suggested by Palm; -make a copy of your back-up from the palm directory; program files/palmone/van/backup. - do a hard reset - reinstall the applications one by one, hotsync after every install until you have found the offending application

Zire 72 and Outlook 2003 - I think I've tried it all! Doesn't work....

you don't need pocketmirror for zire 72 because palm desktop have outlook conduits to handle outlook synching. inorder for you to sync using outlook you must have the outlook conduits installed which seems you have it already installed. you have to disable some older conduits inorder to avoid conflicts with the conduits. to do these follow these steps: 1. right click on the hotsync manager icon on your system tray 2. click on Custom... 3. select Date Book (Outlook) 4. click on Change... 5. select Do Nothing and set it to default 6. click Ok 7. repeats steps 3-6 for Address Book (Outlook), To Do List (Outlook) and Memo Pad (Outlook)
