I forgot user name and password of copy system (Printer Nashuatec Aficio dsm651 ) . I can not get into the system settings. How can I remove the user name and password that I forgot? thanks alot

You can take a look in the Address Book. You will find there your user and password.
If you dont know how to see the address book ask your IT.

user tools>system settings>admin> address book then select the user and you can scroll down or goto authentication and change the password.
if you cant get into admin try the username administrator with no passowrd or service with no passwrd

Hi, in order to activate the double count for A3 paper, you have to go into "special" SP mode. The procedure is almost the same as going into regular SP mode, but as you hit "Copy SP" on the touch screen, make sure you are holding down the pound (#) key. Then you should be able to find 5104.

You can only change 5104 once, so one you enable it you won't be able to change it back to counting larger paper as 1 click instead of 2.

if it is the administrator user name and password try

user name - admin
password -

blank password.

The Default factory passwords are not what you have listed. They are the following:
User name: administrator
Password: password (or possibly leave blank)

Give that a try.

However, the web interface isn't all that special on this older model anyway. All you need to program are the Ip address, and subnet mask, as there is no scan to email function, and the scanning can only be done via a software, that you won't have, and is getting difficult to find, because it is no longer supported, and just as complicated to configure should you find it ("Scanrouter V2 Lite" is the name ) as opposed to direct scan to folder. By the way this scanning software is NOT Vista compatible should you find it.
If you can't log into the web interface....on the machine, go to "user tools', "system settings", Interface settings", and set your IP address and subnet mask...that's it.

Pull the litium battery off of the printer card and put it back in. That may reset the password unless it wrote it to the hard drive.

Try getting into service mode and see if you can reset the user passwords by turning them off in the settings.
