I am having an issue with my internal webcam on Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757. I upgraded to Windows 7 Home and my camera can not be located anywhere. I downloaded the device drriver from Toshiba, but the Setup won't run.

HELLO FRIEND. YOU HAVE TO MAKE USE OF THE DISC'S THAT CAME WITH THE LAPTOP. I MEAN ALL THE DISC'S NOT USING ONE TO FORMAT AND USE ANOTHER OK. THEN YOU WILL HAVE YOUR SYSTEM RESTORED TO GOOD CONDITION.

This is a picture of your motherboard. The RTC (CMOS) battery is the little light blue and silver circle in the lower left part of the motherboard(about 1cm from the left edge of the board and 4 cm from the bottom edge of the board). It's much smaller than a standard desktop's cmos battery (2032). You should be able to pop the tiny 2 pin connection out of the tiny slot there to reset it.

Try to check the fan of your CPU if that is properly connected and properly functioning. Usually if the it overheats then meaning the issue is the cooling part of the CPU. Also the memory try to check if it is supported with your new CPU installed.

password ready.1. Click the Windows Start button. 2. Click Control Panel, System and Maintenance and then Device Manager. 3. Right-click on Chicony USB 2.0 Camera and select Update Driver Software.
A yellow exclamation point indicates that the camera is recognized by
Windows but is not working properly, probably because of problem with
the device driver 4. Select Browse my computer for the driver software. 5. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. 6. Select USB Video Device from the list, and click Next. 7. If the message “Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device” appears, click Close. 8. Restart Windows. The webcam should now work properly
