I am trying to get into my Sage programme, it comes up with "you may only run one copy of this program at any one time". I have deleted all of the queue files and even searched through the computer for the phrase "queue" to make sure I have not missed anything. It still will not let me get into the programme - any ideas please??

WE have upgraded a sage program on to new computer. However we cannot restore the backup due to an "unsupported version "error

hi dmatharu667
this happens when you take a backup of a company that has a accdata folder in the accdata folder and it reports version as v9. To correct this go to data directory go into accdata directory and in that director move or delete the second accdata directory, repeat your backup and it should then restore perfectly

I was working in sage instant accounts version 8.2 when my computer crashed. Im trying to go back into sage but it comes up with the message 'you may only run one copy of this programme at any...

If you are unable to logon to Sage you can try deleting the Queue.dta file. All users MUST be logged out of Sage and Sage should not be running. Sage will recreate the queue.dta file when it is restarted. The Queue.dta file can be found in the ACCDATA folder for the Sage Company Data that is experiencing the problem.
Note that the "Username already in use" message from Sage can occur if Sage wasn't shut down tidily for that users session. If you are sure that the user is not actually logged in it's OK to allow Sage to clear the session and log in.

C:\program\SAGE\ACCOUNTS\REPORTS\\*TB.SRT contains an invalid pat

This message usually comes when the target location is not there or is renamed OR the address is wrong. Open My Computer, and go to the address you gave. Look if there is the file named *TB.SRT.

And by the way... the address you gave was "
C:\PROGRAM\\SAGE\ACCOUNTS\REPORTS\\*TB.SRT" BUT I believe that the address should be "C:\PROGRAM\SAGE\ACCOUNTS\REPORTS\*TB.SRT".
It is not possible that the address contains 2 slash (\\) repeatedly. Open the file by going to the My Computer OR by opening the software and by locating the file manually from there.

live chat assistance costs $19.99. And $12.99 for one time e-mail premium support.

If you have a registered product then I would suggest you to visit:

There you might find a solution at no cost.
