Error 10 is either a disconnect from the audio input cable (check the pins on both ends) or the Acoustimass module has no power. Check the outlet etc. If resetting it (unplug both components for 30+ seconds) doesn't fix the problem. Call Bose for a repair.

Just make sure they all have the correct impedance to match your system. Such as 8 ohm or 16 ohm. Sometimes the speaker inputs are marked with the correct ohm value

I have a pair of redline bose cube speakers and an acoustimas. I don't have cable for the connection. I would appreciate if someone help me showing diagram and which cable I should use it. Thanks

You can make a serial cable for it. All you need is a 15-pin d-type female connector and a bunch of speaker wire. Solder the speaker wire as shown in my diagram.

I would start to check from the audio amplifier ICs section. Most probably the Audio Amplifier IC faulty but there are many version of Bose Wave radio and therefore couple of Audio amplifier ICs have been used namely TDA 7374, TDA 7375 and more.

Initial Bose Speakr Hook-Up Acoust 10-Denon RCVR

Hope this may help but you will disappointed. as heard from some pro, your amp will blow up the bose cube if direct connected to them, they are powering down your output to fit their tiny speaker. My understanding was you have to hook up everything to the bose module. They don't like to play with others.

Bose - Custom EQ Error: 10

Hi, I have just had the same problem and the advice from BOSE was to turn everything off and disconnect the sub from the main unit, wait 10 mins and turn everything back on, making sure to turn the sub on first.

As it happens i then noticed I had connected the sub via the BOSE link speakers plug to the main unit rather than the correct "MAIN" socket. - so if you are reading this you know I am a fool! But the sound now works.

Basically BOSE confirmed the reason for error 10 is that the main unit is not detecting the sub and speakers.

Anyway, I hope my foolish mistake, helps save time and blushes for anyone reading this link.

Audio problem - Bose Acoustimas

Go into the parameters setting for your receiver and make sure that your levels are at least matching all outputs. If this is not the case, suspect wiring or a problem with the amplifier. Oh, and last but not least, make sure that the receiver has at least the "speaker A" option switched on...accordianman
