Trying to reinstall office 2007 and sez not a qualifible upgradable product

Hello Mrbill988,

* The first thing I would do is go into add/remove programs uninstall any office installations listed. Next open My Computer --> your Hard drive ( C:/ ) --> Programs .....

Search for a file labeled Microsoft Office if there is one right click it and delete ( Do NOT delete any other Microsoft/ Windows Folders).

* You can then use a free registry cleaner to fix your registry this will get rid of any traces of a previous office installation.
You can download one free here works with any operating system CLICK HERE ..

After you have done these things you can then try to reinstall office 2007 ( Make sure it is the FULL version of office 2007 and not just an upgrade for office 2003).

--If this works post back and let me know if it does not I will assist you further. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Since installing office 2007 i cant scan to word

Was this an upgrade from 2003 to 2007? I had several add-ons and components fail when I migrated. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall cleanly to get many features to work. Especially 3rd party integration stuff.

Unable to install ms office 2007, upgrading from Office 2003

Hi,
please first uninstall all the existing versions of MS Office. Then try to clean temporary files, cache and registry using tools like cCleaner (freely availavle), then install MS Office.

if you want to install only MS Office 2007, no need to install MS office 2003 and upgrade. directly install MS Office 2007.

If you want to keep both, pleas install MS office 2003 first, then MS office 2007, please dont uograde it, rather select Keep both version.

Please make sure that you have admin permission before doing all this and your system is free from any virus.
Thanks

Migrating software and data to new computer

Assume that your Visor is your data respository. So you should make sure that you have an up-to-date synchronization from the NT PC. Now get the XP compatible software for your Visor from the palmOne website and install it on the XP box. I assume that you will be synching via USB this time - this is the default setup when you install the software. Hopefully you still have the USB cradle that came with the Visor. You can still use serial sync with XP but you should try to take advantage of the speed of USB on the new PC. Download for XP & Visors: http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/visor/win_desktop_401.html Once the software is installed, sync with the new computer and all your data should be copied from the Visor to your PC in the first synchronization. By the way, Outlook shouild be installed on the new computer before you install the Visor software; otherwise the installer will not offfer to install the PocketMirror conduits.

XP re-boots during first sync of Visor Edge

Unfortunately, there is no change to this behavior when you download a new copy of the 4.0.1 desktop software. I have the same issue, only it used to crash my system about every 5th or 6th sync. Now it seems to do it every time. I also ran the utility which eliminates the registry entries, and then reloaded the hotsync/desktop software, but the crashes continue. I too, have a Presario. I'm wondering if we have a driver problem with the PC.
