disconnect the printer from the data cable to the computer and plug directly into a wall outlet bypassing any power strips/battery backup and then see if it will power on. If it does, run a self test and see if it prints.
If still in a no power state, unplug the power adapter from the wall and the printer, wait 5 minutes, then plug into wall, then in to printer and try to power on again.
If still no power and under warranty, contact manufacturer for repairs/replacement.
If not under warranty and an Inkjet, almost assured it will be less expensive to replace than to repair:
release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”. (on C8100 use Touch Screen) 2.Press and release the “OK” button. 3.Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”, 4.Press and release the “OK” button. 5.Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear”. 6.Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”. 7.Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE. 8.Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet. 9.Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer 10.Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK. 11.If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. 12.To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or Software Installation. 13.If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit
Remove the battery, plug the wall adapter in and try to boot. If it works, the battery is the problem. If not; is the green indicator on the power brick on? If not, replace the power supply brick. If all the above is ok, the problem is internal and I would be guessing without testing.
you have a faulty circuit somewhere, whether its in speaker wiring, or power source, i dont know, but your reciever has an automatic circuit breaker in it for protection, and a faulty circuit will trip it, i would assume it is a power source problem since it wont turn back on, check wiring, plugs and look around, and smell for burnt, or hot components.
Had the same problems.. the n64 just turned off after playing dr. mario for a few minutes... anyways, heres what worked for me
1. make sure your wall outlet works *sounds dumb, but better safe then sorry, plug in a light or something to make sure it works*
2. unplug EVERYTHING, controllers, vid cord, power etc
3. let everything be disconnected for about a minute or so, the AC adapter sometimes overheats and turns it self off which might be the problem.
4. ONLY plug in the AC adapter to the n64, make sure its firmly plugged in. turn it on.. it should light up now, if so, plug everything back in. enjoy :)
Some basic troubleshooting tips are listed below to help determine the cause.
Check the following items :
1
Ensure the phone cord is plugged directly from the wall jack, into the back port of the fax machine marked "Line", "To Wall Jack", or with a wall jack symbol
2
Remove any other device from the line such as splitters, credit card machines, or telephone answering machines and retry.
3
Turn Error Correction Mode (ECM) off ,
For turning off ECM > press set up > press ok >go to advanced fax set up by using the arrow key > press ok > press arrow key go to OFF > press ok .
After these steps > try to send a fax to undermentioned number , once it is sent u will recieve a confirmatory fax in return as well .
self confirmatory no for fax 1 888 473 2963 .
or u can try to send a fax to a different local number as well.
