Noise from the back .. outside ? would be the fan motor DC ver-speed motors.. frosting over is likely a drain problem

  • Anonymous Sep 01, 2008

check the fan blade in the back .. I have seen them crack one of the blades .. you can also check the drain hoses from the back... if they changed the ice maker they should have changed the control board too or you will have more trouble with it...also the ice make will not make ice if the freezer is not 5 degrees hope it helps..

Frigde wont get cold but freezer does.

I am an authorized Samsung service center, and I have dealt with this ongoing design problem for years. The problem occurs when the unit comes out of the defrost cycle, not all of the frost has been removed by the defrost element and an ice bridge occurs at the top and bottom evaporator coil. There are sensors that send readings back to the main PCB during and after this cycle, They have to be replaced along with adding heat transfer clips for better frost meltage and air circulation.
Order the following parts through Samsung:: Fixer # DA61-03585A, Plate # DA61-03502A, Thermal Bi-metal # DA47-10160H, Sensor # DA32-00006W. Have these parts installed by a professional appliance repair company.
I hope this will fix your dilemma, Ward Appliance Repair.

RS2630SH icemaker slow production

Had the same problem. This allows 12 seconds for the tray to fill. If your water filter is the least bit dirty or the water supply line is clogged a bit, you will get an incomplete fill and the cubes will be hollow, mishapen, or, in my case, all won't eject properly. Replace your filter. If that doesn't do it then use a shop vac with any kind of modification to it that will fit into the supply line and **** out the blockages. Hope this helps.

Hot refrigerator

I had the exact same problem and got sick and tired of it. I contacted the Consumer Product Safety Commision and they came out and photographed my refrigerator and asked questions about the fridge. If everyone who is having trouble would write the commission we might be able to get the fridge recalled. Even if you repaired it already, they want to know the problem and what you did about it. the web site is: www.cpsc.gov. Everyone please help out. The more people we get to respond the better.
