I have a Maytag Energy-saver window airconditioning unit, model #M7Y15F2A and serial #DR125343101--- and the electrician here needs to confirm HOW MANY AMPS the unit pulls when running? Mine is pulling more than 21amps and blew my 15V fuse. ***I don't know if I need to buy a smaller unit because (despite the correct square footage of 13000++), the machine amp-age is too big for my 15V maximum (I am in apt. building), and therefore creates a fire hazard when the A/C is pulling more amps than the fuse allows. Note that there is nothing else plugged into the same A/C outlet, and that i had an electrician here to confirm that there is no electrical issue. ----My A/C compressor will cut out/stop running, as if it is pulling too much power--? ----My main question is officially HOW MANY AMPS DOES THIS EXACT A/C UNIT MODEL NUMBER PULL? Thank-you. I am very stressed out and have been dealing with this for months.

What is date of manufacture for Maytag dehumidifier serial AR765818 024W model M7DH45B24-A

Well my unit is a 45Pint Model M7DH45B2A - REC-CY, I searched high and low for a date but couldn't find one. It had on it, the stats, On the High side it runs 400 PSI, Low side 150 PSI.
Mine does have an Energy Star Sticker. It was purchased 2005 or 06. We've only had to replace relay switch once and that was last year.

MAYTAG REFRIGERATOR MODEL RSW2700

Are you sure your refrigerator came with an energy saver switch? I can't find one listed for the model you have. If you are trying to add one, that is not something that is easily done for the older models. If my documentation is incorrect and your model did come with an energy saver switch or you are looking for another part, then you might be able to get it through www.searspartsdirect.com . Just plug in your model number and select model # search and you will get different models of your refrigerator. Select the one that applies and look for the correct part.

How can I turn on the energy saver on my LWHD2400HR air conditioner? There is no switch on the A/C, only an indicator light that says "Energy Saver"?

The Energy Saver mode is activated by using the hand held remote control, that comes with the unit. Pressing the Energy Saver button activates it. Once activated the fan will shut OFF when the the compressor does. After which, about every 3 minutes the fan will turn ON to check the room air to determine if cooling is needed.

It sounds like, you're missing the hand held remote control?

My airconditioner has been on energy saver for almost 2 days and will not come on what should be do

If this is a window or wall unit. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit and wait 12-15 minutes. Then, plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the controls on anything except energy saver. If the unit then operates as it should, let it run for at least an hour before switching it to Energy Saver Mode. If that's the way you want to operate it. If it doesn't restart and run like it should or it shuts OFF on Energy Saver Mode, there is a problem with one of the setting sensors and needs to be replaced.

Also, while you have the unit unplugged, check the outlet to make sure it's still active. You can do this by plugging in a lamp. If the lamp doesn't work, the circuit breaker for that outlet has been tripped in your home's circuit breaker panel and needs to be reset. When you plug the AC unit back in and it trips the breaker again, there is an electrical short or overload in the AC Unit.

Please keep in mind everything I suggested is based on your AC being a 120 volt window or wall unit.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

I have a Tempstar 9000 airconditioning unit and while I was weed wacking I accidently cut a wire to the unit. I replaced the wire but now the unit wont turn on and also my furnace blower wont work even in...

Hello TLOEKS You blew the transformer FUSE inside the blower unit! It should be a 5amp blade fuse like the one that goes in a car.It is located at the curcit board at the blower compartment.Replace that to restore low voltage power and every thing will work.Strip back the wire and match color to color to resplice it make sure that they will not touch at any time or the new fuse will blow too.wire nut or electrical tape the wire repair.

My air conditioner turned itself off and now the display reads EE we have unplugged it it runs for a little while then shuts itself off again

Remove the unit from the window, and dissassemble and use a water hose and clean the inside of the unit, remove all debris, this is most likely the problem.

I have an old free standing Maytag portable dishwasher, model number WC504. I just need to know what the differences in the drying options are. What is the difference between Power Dry, Temp Boost, and...

Power Dry uses a little more electricity when drying but does a good job.

Temp Boost will raise the wash temperature to clean better, this uses very little extra energy and works well, it may add a little time to the cycle

Energy saver will not dry the dishes or boost the water as hot as needed to sanitize. It will save about 2 cents per load.

If you need plastics to dry always put them in the top rack and use the power dry. Use rinse aid to help with drying.
