The lens isn't supposed to be removable. With the CLA-11 Adapter Tube you can add an additional lens to the camera, such as close-up, wide-angle, or telephoto. However, these attachments go in front of the lens that is already on the camera.

Olympus sp 590uz xd card not recognized by Mac

There are a few things you can try to get your MacBook to recognize your Olympus SD card:
  1. Make sure that the SD card is properly inserted into the card reader or the MacBook's SD card slot.
  2. Check to see if the SD card is locked. Some SD cards have a physical switch that can lock or unlock the card. Make sure the switch is in the unlocked position.
  3. Try using a different card reader or a different SD card to see if the problem is with the card reader or the SD card itself.
  4. Try using a different USB cable to connect the card reader to your MacBook.
  5. Check if your mac has the latest macOS update.
  6. Check if the SD card is formatted in a file system that your Mac can read (ex: exFAT, FAT32).
  7. Try running disk utility on your mac and repair the SD card.
If none of these steps work, it may be an issue with the SD card itself, and may need to be replaced.

Cant transfer pictures from from camera to pc

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My olympus sp-590uz will turn on but is then frozen.

I have had a similar problem. My solution was to check the zoom button. It seems that when it is "out of range" you can do nothing with the camera. Try to adjust the zoom a Little bit and you will probably be "in range" and the camera with work.

My olympus sp-590uz will turn on but then act like it is frozen. I can't focus or shift to menus

I don't have an answer but I have had this problem too. I think it has something to do with the zoom/shutter control. Something broke on this and the camera can't be revived unless you shut it off and on again. I was in the Montparnasse cemetery in Paris when this happened and I suspect I might as well have buried it there.

Just bought the Olympus pen EP-L1 Im having trouble find lenses for my new toy any suggestions?

You don't state why you're having trouble finding the correct lenses, but they are easily available from online suppliers. Traditional retail outlets tend to stock very few of them though simply because there isn't sufficient demand to buy in and keep stocks of products which are constantly having updates and price adjustments.

You can use all Olympus Micro Four-Thirds lenses and most Panasonic Micro Four-Thirds (although to use some of the latter you may need to update the body or lens firmware.

Regular Four-Thirds mount lenses can also be used via an adapter but may not be fully functional.

Unlike other lens mounting systems, you can also get adapters to use almost any lens on Micro Four-Thirds system cameras, but the lens will typically have to be used in a fully manual mode with the aperture set fully open for composition and focus and then manually stopped down for metering and image capture.
