Optical mouse moves by itself

Hi,
I've got a cordless mouse (black classic design with roller) that i bought with a cordless keyboard. the key board is fine but the mouse often goes crazy. Sometimes it's fine and there is some minor movement but on days like today it's pretty much un useable and moves the screen up and down on its own accord. It''s not the batteries.

do i need to reinstall the software or what?

cheers

martin

Make sure you have fresh batteries in the mouse and keyboard:

Plug your transmitter unit into an USB port, push the connect button on the TX, then push in on the connect button on the mouse and the keyboard. Also, install the cd that came with the KB/Mouse, to gain access to the features.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holy days!

Logitech mouse blinks red after hanging battries

If this is a cordless Optical mouse it uses a red optical beam to sense the surface below it. This is how it moves the pointer. If this is the same mouse/keyboard combo I have it does not have any other lights on the mouse itself.

It is quite annoying when its dark in the room since the bottom is somewhat transparent.

Mouse is recognised but key board is not.

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Turn the Keyboard over and press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver. Should work okay then.
Hope this helps. Bud
