Wireless network problem

Hi guys, I have a problem bothering me for a couple of days. I have a wireless network, and I connected my pocket pc to it. Usualy when you want to access a computer in the network you have access with \\computer_name\shared_folder\. I'm not able to connect to the pocket pc from the computer this way, to see the contents. Also I couldn't find an option to share the files from the pocket pc for other users in the network. Is there another solution for this problem? Thanks a lot.

Why are you using any Ipaq. in the year 2017.

we in USA , i think have zero support on any Ipaq, and for sure no
service providers.
so how can this toy be used, why not buy a used smart phone and end this torrture..

What is the model of your wireless router? Does it support the B network your pda is?

also try installing ministumbler (wireless scanner program) to the pda

scan around with the stumbler it should detect the network, if its set to the wrong band, G only for example it wont be detected set the router to mixed B / G mode.

Hi whioch computer has a problem ?
A PC with the new hard drive ?
Mkae sure that you have the wireless adapter working on the computer.
If it is working then try to find the network .

Imate ultimate 6150 cannot search for network operator(No service

I just had exactly the same problem, I banged the back of the phone a couple of times on my palm.
I think since it fell the hardware antenna was not touching the connections.

Go to Settings-Connections-Connections-advanced-Network Card.
You will see all available wireless networks in your area. Double click the desired wireless network and tap connect. Note whether the desired network has been connected.

USB wireless connection problem

Dear hedonista ,
Its the problem related to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and some times it happpening when your USB Adaptor handshakes with Router , its not a serious problem but you guys have to improve the Wifi routers signals.

In my experience this type of thing bodes of a hardware failure...I think ya WiFi module has gone faulty, sorry to say.. In fact the only way to "Troubleshoot" something like this is to replace the unit and see whats what anyway.. perhaps ya can get one on Ebay or the like?
