The adapter is only used for when you need to us it with your computer. Most computer don't have a slot for a micro sd card, and this is why most micro sd card comes with an adapter.
to can put the micro card into a adapter card that you use to put your phone info onto your computer and there is a switch on the left side of the adapter put it into the unlocked position which I believe is up and then take out ur micro card it should be unlocked. I know Kodak SD cards have this feature with the adapter I unlocked my micro card this way

That depends on the camera. If the camera supports Sandisk Micro, then the SD card will fit into a slot. The slot is often located near to the battery.
You will just have to push card in and camera will automatically read card.
If camera does not read the card, ensure that the camera model can support SanDisk Micro, and that it will also support card size. Older cameras do not support big memory card (eg.4Gb)
Don't know the size of the micro with its adapter, but if it is the size of a duo card you should be able to put your micro with adapter into a Pro adapter and this is the memory stick that most card readers accept. Sony has been pretty much backward compatible so I feel this should work. A Pro adapter runs about $10 @ Best Buy.

Well as far as I know you have to connect the memory card into the adapter and connect the adapter to a card reader(a kind of a box like thing which only that can read the memory cards). This card reader you have to connect to the computer and just copy and paste the song and then reconnect
