PC CAM 600 showing ERR at image counter

My PC CAM 600 is showing ERR at the imagge counter location on the camera and will not take a picture or work in any other function. I tried plugging back into my PC and that caused a "fatal error". I used the camera a couple of days before and it worked fine. I have replaced the batteries but do not know what else to try. Someone HELP

Try reseting the camera. "ERR" doesn't indicate any specific error, but usually tends to be something only a technician can fix. Sometimes, you can make it go away by fully pressing the shutter release, but chances are that it will reappear at some point. Take it to a reputable camera shop, or send it to Nikon if you're still under warranty.

(The "r09" message is not an error, but an indicator of how many images you can take-nine in this case-before the camera has to pause for processing. This usually applies to burst-mode photography, and varies depending on how fast your CF card can transfer images.)

Err 05

In my case, I borrowed a camera and when I got it back, err 05 appears. I've located a bit of old orange juice which sticked one of the sensors - you can see the sensors when flash is popped out.
