Black printer ink in HP Printer may fail to be recognized by the printer. Most times an error message will be sent indicating that something is wrong with the black print cartridge. Sometimes the printer may accept to print with the black ink, but the printouts may have horizontal lines and very illegible letters. try to include cleaning all the roller, that's cause also for a print line under it.

The black print head is clogged. The reason why the black is clogged and not the photo black or any colors is that the black is pigment ink and the photo black and colors are dye based ink. The pigment ink is a particulate formulation that binds up when water is evaporated out of the ink. You need to buy a new print head the fix the problem. First run the CLEAN HEADS and see if that helps. If you don't use your printer at least once a week the Print Heads get dried out and will not allow the ink to pass through to the paper.
Go to control Panel and click on Printess. Then when the window comes up, CLICK on Properties TAB and then in the next window, CLICK on CLEANING.
You may have to replace your PRINT HEAD if that doesn't work.

black vertical lines on the printout comes due to some reasons.
1) if the black cartridge is near to its end it will give black lines instead of proper printing.
the cartridges gets over many times due to head cleaning and deep cleaning.in 3-4 cleanings cartridge gets over.in one cleaning 4 ml of ink gets puled out of cartridge.the whole quantity of cartridge is near to 25 ml.
but if the cartridge is full then the problem is of cartridge head .the head is the part in which you insert the cartridges if the head is got blocked internally to its holes from where ink comes out.then there are two methods to clean the head one is head cleaning which you did.the other is removing the head by disassembling the printer and then cleaning the head manually with isoprophyll liquid.but its a time consuming and tough job.a local printer repair center will be advisable,
and in some cases it has seen that cartridge gets air pressure problem inside and due to that it leaks inside the printer so replacing that cartridge solves the problem.also many times the cartridge gets leaked and that leaked ink gets collected and stuck up on the roller of the printer from where paper passes so the strips of ink gets printed on the paper.in this case no head cleaning but cleaning the internal roller of the printer with tissue paper helps.the procedure is called servicing.that can also be done at local printer repair center.or you can do it manually by using tissue paper.but to service whole printer it needs to be disassemble.

Take the cartridges out and also the printhead and set the nozzle of the printhead on a 5-sheet pile of kitchen paper that was make wet in the middle with some lukewarm demineralized water ( water for an iron )there is not much necessary if there are clogged nozzles deep inside the printhead buy cartridge flush different methode for printers to find
