Most games support the gamepad by default. You should not need any software or setup. But you might need the Drivers for it... Check this out, hope it helps:
Your controller needs to be a USB 2.0, they can be directly plugged in.You still need a driver so your computer knows what just got plugged into it.After you install the drivers you can configure it by going to Control Panel-Printers and other Hardware-Game Controllers.
This is usually the cause of a dirty disk and/or reading lens. If you bought different consoles and disks, this may be a result of unforunate coincedences.
Another thing that people dont know about however, is that video game creators will make the game faulty on purpose, to make it freeze, JUST before you get to the end of the game, this is so you will stay interested and buy more of their games.
Also, you may have a fan problem, after the game freezes, check and see if the ps2 is hot, it may be over heated.
Try unplugging it for 24 hours, then retry.
Have a good night
Well 1. you need a router 2. if you read the instructions with your ether net you are not supposed to plug into the one side ((BAD NO NO )) trying to run it through your pc is a pain cuzz the stupid format disk does not work on your pc... easy way use the dial up cuzz they want you too use on of there service providers or call your dsl provider for your login and password stuff... i run mine with a differnt ether net box i got from my cable company so i can share my dsl ip address and connection ..its a pain i would start with your service provider first.
You know it works on the PC but nothing is working? Sorry, this isn't very clear, is the controller not working on the 360 or the PC? More explanation is needed here I think
