Here I go again. I still have not got this thing to sync. It synced as much as two weeks ago and won't any more. I have a IPAQ 3955 and when I go to Sync it gives me an error 604. It says it cannot start communication with the desktop computer due to critical error (Error 604). I looked under the help menu and nothing shows up for Error 604. If anybody knows what to go please reply. I have tried it several times. Thanks
I have an iPAQ 3955 and recieve the same critical error 604. I have upgraded to Active Sync 3.7 and still have the same problem. Have tried two different laptops (work/home) and different USB cables. Restarted (hard) the PDA seveal times and still can not connect. Any ideas what to try next? If I can't sync to Outlook the PDA is useless! Reply With Quote

Try uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling ActiveSync on the host. If you haven't yet upgraded to 3.6, maybe upgrading will clear up the problem.
