The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa: Organize edit and share your photos
If you have problem with your USB device or if you try to connect your USB to your laptop or desktop computer here is the solution, just read carefuly and follow my rules down here:
First of all turn on your computer and plug in the USB and keep following these instructions by numbers:
1. Go where START and open control panel.
2. In control panel look where say "device manager" (if you don't see device manager option don't worry, then look for computer decive and then look for device manager or device hardware)
3. Click on device manager
4. click on universal serial bus or USB devices
have a good luck!!
According to the specifications the camera has both an in-built mmory, and also accepts an SD card with a maximum of 512 MB . Maybe it will accept a larger SD memory card but only record up to 512 MB? I do not know.
SD cards are common in camera stores, but these days they make them with 1, 2, 3 or even 8 GB ( 1GB about 1000 MB) !
I believe you have face tracking enabled. Go into PC Cam Center and go to the Live video section. In here there is a source button, click on it. On the video tab you should see an option for Face Tracking, turn it off and this zooming will stop.
