I have a samsung digimax 130 camera that is not working right now. It powers up, but all the buttons do not respond to anything. I would like to know where I can get service for this camera since I live in California, more specifically in orange county. Can anyone point me to some place that will fix this problem? I already tried changing the batteries and other stuff, but it just won't respond to anything.

Re: buttons do not respond
The only solution that I found is to take off the battery from camera. After I reconnect the battery, the camera starts without any problem (lens are moving, LCD is on, AF is also on). The battery status is full.

To find out you should check on the Samsung website.
1. Navigate to http://www.samsung.com/au/. 2. SelectTroubleshooting from the Support drop down menu, located top/right of screen. 3. In the Search product support field, typeDigimax 4010. (NOTE: Check that it is 4010 and not 401). Press <Enter>.
Look at anything which appears to be relevant. I have quickly scanned the manual for the 401 and couldn't find anything that was related to using it as a WebCam however, SAMSUNG provided the following information to the question:
USB cable to the camcorder and the PC.
Power On the
Camcorder and put in REC Mode. Windows will detect the device. (If
you are using a DuoCam, you must use the Camcorder side.)
or other webcam software.
If using Messenger,
click on the Webcam Button in the message pane of the "contact" with
whom you wish to share video. Read the agreement and click OK.

Try replacing batteries (high Ah photographic type).
The lens motor & electronics may be draining power if Ah capacity has dropped too low. At night, it could be that your flash is trying to fire (another drain), or shutter timer / mirror staying open longer.
