I have lost the nuts and bolts to put the Carter's convertible crib model #1101CC together. Does anyone know how to get their hands on a set? The bed is no longer for sale.
You just take off the rail and Tada! it's a Toddler bed.
Then you can change from elmo sheets to Pokemon sheets and Tada! it's a Day/Bed. I don't know how they get away with advertising it as a 4-in-1 since there is no material difference between the daybed and the toddler bed.
I have all the instructions posted in an album on photobucket.com. In the site only search field (not the web search) type emilykenepp and change the search criteria from images to people. Pages 10 and 11 are for the conversions. I too, need to convert my crib to the toddler daybed. My daughter climbed out last night! Anyway, I was searching for my instructions and then remembered the instructions are attached to the bottom of the mattress board......hope this helps.
