HI, My GE WBVH6240F is pausing at various points in all cycles. This is the second washer that has done the same thing. The retailer that we bought it from replaced the original washer. Both washers worked fine for about a month before this started. After pressing the pause button, the cycle will continue but will not spin the clothes dry. The drum turns, but very slowly, and the clothes are still very wet. We called our service center on the first washer, the technician said he had never seen this model and had no training on it. He put main system board on order but it went back order and took about 4 weeks to come in. By then, the retailer had swapped the broken one for a new one. The new washer started doing the same thing yesterday. Any ideas? Washer pauses at various times during the cycles, taking hours to do one load.

Tell the dealer you want a different make!
IT'S EASIER TO KEEP CUSTOMERS THAN TO FINED NEW ONES!
We have been selling appliances for over 65 years!
And you will only see one GE appliance on my showroom floor!
Whirlpool or SPEED QUEEN! ARE THE BEST!
HERE IS MY STORY FOR YOU!
AFTER 6 YEARS AND THREE repairs.
I threw GE in the trash and bought a Speed Queen Commercial grade washer and, I AM 53 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS THE LAST WASHER I WILL EVER BUY!
tHEY ARE TESTED AT 8 loads a week for 25 years!!!!!!!
The washers and dryers today use so much less water, electricity, and detergent that they pay for them selves after a only a few years.
My advise is, it is cheaper to buy, run, and operate a new efficient machine! You will see you water and electric bill reduced!!!!!!!!!
Speed Queen commercial grade top loader uses only 34 gallon of water compared to the others at 48-54 gallons!
THE FRONT LOADER,
(GET THIS) ONLY 13.9 GALLONS of water and washes in 35 minutes and the clothes are cleaner and last longer cause it uses water agitation instead of a vain to wear out your clothes! How about spinning at 1000 RPM and the clothes come out so dry they are only in the dryer half the time than all the other machines! Thus half the gas or electric bill!!
All my employees have replaced their laundry pairs with Speed Queen!
My Guys call it the, "No brainier Machine!"
I hope you can utilize the good advice I so enjoy sharing with all the good people we talk to!

I cleaned the drain as suggested in other posts and found two years of gunk. Now the machine works fine. Thanks for your help. Too bad GE doesn't list it under Troubleshooting in their manual.
