Time and date on the image

I have a digimax 210. i was able to set the time and date but I don't know how to make it appear on the image. Also I wondered if there is a way to erase all the stored images other than one at a time. Any help would be appreciated. TIA, Art

How do I change the date on my camera?

Hello! Welcome to FixYa!
You can change the date of your
Samsung Digimax A503 Digital Camera. first of all turn your camera on. Now go to the menu by pressing "MENU" button. Now using right arrow key, Go to "Setup Menu". Now using down arrow key, select "Date". Here you can change the date that will be displayed on the captured images and set up the date type.
Here "Right arrow button" select the Year/Month/Day date type and "Left arrow button" is to move cursor to the Date Menu if the cursor is at the first item of the date and time setup. In all other cases cursor will be shifted to left of its current position and "Up and Down button" is to change the settings values. So you can change the date the according to desired format.
For clear picture the image of the menu where date menu is visible on the camera is given below

How to set specific dates to water with my T1030D? I don't need daily frequency for cool weather time. There is fequency dates to chooce on T1030, but not with T1030D.

1) Sept 2011.
If you have a T1030D timer instruction manual, then that would be helpful for many people.
Scan manual into .jpg format (file format) and then post images on Flickr.
Add a comment with link to those images so expert can access the information.

2) Currently the only instruction manual is the following, where you can also send information saying what your instruction manual says:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Instructions-for-setting-Gardena-T1030D.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-program-Gardena-C1060.html#manuals

3) That being said:
Let me add some guessing, and then you can add a comment with what you observe.
Between us we might be able to work out a solution.

4) I don't think you can set specific dates on either T1030 or T1030D
It appears the T1030D is a weekly timer, just like T1030.
The word 'date' does not appear in T1030 manual except 'date of purchase.'
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Gardena-1030-MANUAL.pdf

5) T1030D: each day of the 7-day week is broken into hour 1 through 24.
Each day can have between 1 to 3 settings. I think this is frequency.
You can set the watering run-time from 1 to 120 minutes for each set time.

I cant seem to find setting for time/date stamp?? or did i just missed it??? need the date to be printed on my pic.btw im using DSC T10. wish u could help. thx.

Hello! Welcome to FixYa!
According to the review features of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 Digital Camera, this camera doesn't have a feature for superimposing date/time on images, however you can print images with the date superimposed, So by default u cannot put the time or date stamp on your images, but after taken the images you can manually put the stamp and can print the images.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you want any further assistance.
I hope this solution helps you

How can I set the date/time stamp to appear in the pictures I take? I also need to know how to then take new pictures without the date/time.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back. If you don't want the date printed, turn off this option.

Displaying time and date when printing

The date/time cannot be deleted once it is embedded in the image. To turn off the date/time deselect the date/time stamping by following procedure:
These instructions explain how to insert the date in images.
attention:
  • The [Date Stamp] cannot be deleted from the image data once it has been recorded because the date is written in as an image.
  • When selecting [Date Stamp] , [Recording Pixels] is set to 1600 x 1200 pixels and the compression (image quality) to [Fine].
  • When the shooting mode is set to <Movie> (g0029623.gif), settings for inserting the date and time cannot be made.
  • The following explanations are provided based on the assumption that the [Shooting Mode] is set to <Program AE> (g0034813.gif).

1. Press the <Power> button on the camera.
g0046584.gif
2. Press the <FUNC./SET> (g0046915.gif) button.

3. A screen like the one below will appear on the monitor.

Select g0013174.gif [Date Stamp] (g0013171.gif) in the [Recording Pixels] section g0013173.gif.
g0013176.gif Press the <MENU> (g0046624.gif) button.

4. A screen like the one below will appear on the monitor.
g0046699.gif
g0013173.gif Operate the <directional buttons> left or right to select [Date Stamp] and set it to [Date] or [Date & Time].
g0013174.gif Press the <MENU> (g0046624.gif) button.

5. Press the <FUNC./SET> (g0046915.gif) button.
g0046628.gif
6. Make sure that the [Date Stamp] is set and the following screen will appear with the icon (g0013164.gif) in the lower-left corner of the screen.
g0046623.gif
7. When shooting with this setting, the date will be embedded in the image as shown below.
g0018302.gif
g0013173.gif [Date]
g0013174.gif [Date & Time]
warning: The date, its font and color, and the position where it is displayed cannot be changed. Also, dates and times recorded with [Date Stamp] cannot be deleted.

Date & Time Stamp on PC

By default Olympus cameras do not print the date on the images when they are downloaded to a PC. Olympus does not include this functionality because they feel that it detracts from image quality. There is a function of the camera called print order that you can set that it will print the date on the images but this is only if you take the card to a photo processing store. However if you use the Olympus Master software and print the images that you have previously transferred there is a check box in the print setting window that you can add the date and or time to the printed image.

Setting the date and time

jfcampbell1; i believe very carefully!!! Just kidding. On the back of the camera, you should see a menu button or setting button. All this information will appear on the LCD screen and you just push on the circular wheel back and forth or up and down until you get to date & time settings. Pushing in on the middle button inside the wheel means OK or Enter. BTW: couldn't find anything on a Digimax A503, so I had to guess it was an A502. Alot of digital cameras are available for review on www.dpreview.com. Hope this helps.
