the screen is not the one that is faulty, but flex.

There is a flex the connects the screen with the phone board. This flex usually worns out as a result of constant open and close of the slide.

Once you have the flex replaced, your screen will display again.

If you're referring to the phone unlock code that you have to enter to get into the phone, the only way to get around a forgotten code is to reset the phone to factory settings.

To do this, type ##786, and then select "ok".

you cannot use a verizon phone on an alltel plan. you have to switch over to verizon to make that phone work. i tried getting a chocolate to work on alltel too and they would not do it.

Dial *4357*4357 and then that should give you the phone number and then just use the last 4 digits to unlock it. PS the unlock numbers are the last 4 digits of the phone number.
