Un plug the machine then remove feed tray you should then open the access door on the front and on the side this will give you access to the rollers. carefully remove the jammed material and replace the feeder tray. plug the machine back in and wait for the self diagnostic test during this the paper should feed normally. good luck please rate this

Having constant paper jams - the paper does feed and the document prints about 3/4 of the page, but crinkles up before exiting the printer, like the slit where the paper is supposed to come out after...

If the paper is jamming at the exit rollers, you will be need to clean the rubber on the rollers. It gets shiny and does not grip the paper to take it away.
I clean the rollers with Isopropyl Alcohol and the green kitchenlb_icon1.png scouring pads. When the rollers are shiny they often have white/grey markings on them. Keep scrubbing until rubber is roughened up.

Brother MFC-7220, paper coming out like a Fan. MFC-7220, paper coming out like a Fan. All creased or not coming out at all and jamming at the back. Any ideas.......your fuser has gon bad or something is...

You may have a weak spring but also you might try adjusting the roller inside. If it does not take a lot of pressure on the cover you might be able to set something (like a book) on it. I have had some luck just changing the paper and cleaning the insides.

your fuser has gon bad or something is blocking the paper path. Open the back and look close for any objects. If nothing there you need a new fuser. Steven 805-520-3003

MFC7820N has accordion pleated paper jams in the rear of the printer. I have removed and cleaned every part of the printer including roller feeders and reassembled (correctly). Any suggestions?

I had the same problem for a few days. The paper only makes it a couple inches through the last rollers entering the output tray and the rest of the paper forms pleats like accordian bellows. This started to happen nearly every time. Changing the paper, toner and drum as well as cleaning do not help. Lift the scanner, which covers the output tray, and watch to see that the rollers at the back of the tray are actually turning when printing. If they are turning, then the paper should come right through into the output tray without forming pleats. You can push down on the four spring loaded bottom rollers at the back of the output tray to check that they will let paper through. My printer stopped making the pleated sheets.

MFC-7220 All-In-One Laser Printer: the back cover open message will not go away...

There is a paper jam in the machine which is blocking the sensor for the back cover.

Remoev the drum and toner (cartridge) from printer and look inside, there should be a piece of paper there, you need to remove it slowly

"No paper Fed"

Check the paper cassette and make sure the paper stop is flush up against the paper if it's not push it up against the paper and try again to print.

Leaking toner all over paper and you can't read the information that is printing and alot of paper jams.

Remove the cartridge as it is faulty. Clean or vacuum the area under the cartridge (with the machine switched offf please) and fit a new cartridge.

Jamming of paper using the Automatic Document Feeder

You may have a really tiny paper jam. You need to open up unit to get access to feeder properly. Use a torch, jams can be so small you can miss them. cheers lilacgerry
