My Vulcan Comfort Control ducted heating doesnt turn on. The remote displays that its working but its not. Not air comes out of the vents. One tradesman told me its the motherboard, another one told me its the gas valve that needs to be replaced. Does anyone know where l can purchase a gas valve from?

Could be simple as collapsed ducting, blocked return air filters, broken ducts, loose fan belt ( if belt driven unit)

has the system air filters been serviced lately
is the system circulation fab been cleaned to allow full air circulation of the system
call in a technician to check for vermin infestation preventing the system from working properly

No it cant really be fitted as the evap system uses much larger duct and also in some cases people use a different type of duct that when running a gas heater threw it it tends to melt with the heat. Your best option would be to get new ducting that way you can size it correctly so you dont have air alance issues down the track.

The heating coil itself have some problem that's why the circuit breaker clicks off by sensing over current drop. Check the heating coil and replace it.

I replaced the batteries, even though 'battery low' message was not displayed. this fixed my problem. I wish I'd have just done that to start with.
