Hi shirleyandba, I found out that you want or need a datacable for your phone but this is just an advise......datacable is a bit hassle for you need to have an installer along with the cable before you can download, and you can't even install if your computer don't have a CD drive.
So I recommend you to have a bluetooth adapter instead....it's cheaper but performs well and you don't have to install anymore, all you have to do is insert it the USB port of your computer, On your phone's bluetooth, and that's it. I have mine and it works well than my datacable...I hope I've help you.

There are several ways and options to do that:

A.With the use of Data cable

-Use Lg260 USB datacable or an Infrared USB datacable to transfer music files that are saved in your computer. Both of this should be connected to the USB port of the computer as well as to your phone.

B.Wireless transfer between phones and devices
-First option via Bluetooth and Infrared transfer to download music from your friends phone or devices which has Bluetooth and infrared features by sharing.

C.Wireless transfer/download from PC
-2nd is using your phones Bluetooth with a USB Bluetooth Dongle inserted in your computer's USB port and is wireless.

That's it, u can download music now in easy ways.

U need a k1v datacable or an Infrared Datacable for that but both will require an installer so i think what's better for you is a Bluetooth Dongle that will transfer files such as music,photos,documents,etc, from PC to phone and vice versa. Goodluck and Enjoy!

I think u need an installer for it, cause USB datacables needs to be installed first before you can use it. Like my DCU-11 USB datacable,I still have to install it using its installer(CD).
I was also having hard time of using it to be honest. You better use a USB Bluetooth Dongle yet. It's easy and less hassle.

U can use a k850i USB Datacable but for me u should use a Bluetooth USB Dongle or Inrared USB cable instead of a data cable,Bluetooth Dongle works good for me. Cause I have a datacable before but it's too complicated....a rate from you for this solution according to the benefits obtained will be much appreciated. tnx!
