Cannot see Mpeg4 on my IMac

And I cannot see Mpeg4 on my IMac OSX 10.3.9 (in my Samsung Digimax V700). Samsung said than he work whit Apple for a solution but do you have any other choice . I dowload "ffmpegx" but I cannot find a codec than I can read. Any other solution?

Use VLC Media Player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ This is a 'universal' media player, so you can now, if you want, use just this player all on its own for all your videos of whatever file extension. The required codecs are included in the download. Nevertheless I'm still keeping Windows Media Player 10, QuickTime player, RealOne player and DivX player for the odd occasions when one of these has to be deployed. So far, no such an occasion has arisen! By the way, there is a dearth of V700 video on the net. So, please let us know your assessment of the V700 videos once you get it working on the VLC Media Player.

That Lock is to Read and delete or just read.... sorta like the old Floppies had.... where you cold read them and then delete or format or whatever or just read and nothing else.

um...... Just remembered.... with SD cards it also enables the card to be read.......

Try making sure the Card is Open... that is to be read.... and if it is and you still have a problem try formatting.... preferably in Camera but a Computer will do....

Reset imac password

It depends which password yo want to reset. If it is the Mac OSX password then you will need to go through some linux commands. If it's efi i.e bios password than, you need a professional Apple service centre. You will need to boot your imac with osx disc and click on utilities and then reset password.

My epson perfection scanner doesn't work since i upgraded my iMac to OSX.10.8

Make sure you have installed the scanner drivers bcos sometimes it only installs printer drivers. I suggest you install the scanner drivers again. Make sure the scanner is turned in first b4 computer.

Safari doesn't work on this used Imac G4 I just bought, but Camino does work? How do I get Safari working on this old thing?

On the left Top of your monitor is a apple Logo.Tip on it and select "About that Mac" A Window pops up and you select "More Info" it shows you the OSX on it. OSX 10.3 or OSX 10.4 Google "Safari Browser for OSX 10.? " Download it and it will work. You may have the latest Version.

Samsung V700 Movie Problem

I think you might need to change your video viewing software. Try quiktime or Realplayer. If this does not work, look on the net for compatible software so that you can view your movies. Hope this helps.
