    I tried for the longest time to find just the manual for the controller. I had asked what unit this was connected to. I probably should have said what Rinnai heater is this attacted to? The reason is that all the instructions are included in the installation manuals vs a product manual (O d d !) I have seen the BC-70-2A in several heaters both the Infinity and the HD series Your post has the controller model listed as BC-70-ZA vs 2A. The Rinnai NZ contact data is below in larger print. I would e-mail them and ask for a product manual for the BC-70-2A Remote Bath Cotroller.

    I have yet to find a BC-70-2A stand alone manual for just the controller. It seems to always be associated with an installation manual.

    The instructions for programming the Remote are on page 17 of the link I posted. That is the manual as far as I know for the remote. You accepted the solution so that starts an automatic debit process. If you find out differerently via emailing Rinnai NZ you can use the contact area at the bottom of this page to discuss your payment. It does not matter to me. You can do what you feel is right. It certainly took more than the average amount of time to figure out there was a problem with the model number you posted and that the operation / programming procedures were in the installation manuals. No worries.

Sorry Ken I worked for Rinnai Australia as a service manager so treat my advice with a little cuation but you should find the basic universal controller should work fine. The code over here is a MC-91 Q2A. It will MC-91 sometihing for over there (I'm guessing from the codes you use you are across the pacific!). You can wire this unit either back to the heater or to wiring from another controller, just match the colours and link them in. Power off the heater first but it is all low voltage.

Here is a link for one on ebay. Looks like you need to go to the Rinnai web site and contact one of their authorized dealers/service providers in your area. Doesn't look good in cutting out the middleman on this one. Hope this helps you out.
