It sounds like you have a corrupt op system in your unit. Unfortunately, FineDrive units were discontinued about 8 years ago. They were manufactured by Navman, but are not supported anymore in any fashion, no maps, no op system or anything. If doing a master reset doesn't fix it, you may be forced to get another unit.

How long does it take to drive 400 km

How long it takes to drive any distance depends on your average speed. Whatever is your average speed, divide that into the distance you have to travel. For instance, if your speed is 100 kilometers per hour and you need to go 400 kilometers, it will take you (400 km/100 kmph=) four hours. Always be sure to use the same units of measurement, English or metric, in your arithmetic.

Singer futura xl 400 problems

Skipping stitches are caused by a bent or poor quality needle, and never by software.
Use only Schmetz needles if you want good results.
Use Classe, Singer, Unique, Tailorform etc if you want poor results.

My hard drive has stopped being recognised by my computer! Please help! One day it was working fine and then the next it just completely stopped being recognised by the computer. I have tried the drive in...

that really happens when hardisk crashed..
there is nothing to do but replace it.
but wait.. I have experience that also, could not retrieve all my files in my drive. So what I did is hide it in my stock room for a couple of weeks.
Then one day when i am about to throw away the drive,I get this crazy ideas to try my hardisk again as back up drive.
I connected my drive, put the jumper in it as slave and open my computer.
At first, it reads very slowly after booting, hardly recognized the disk, but it did...
when I am in windows and started browsing the disk, it would take it some time before loading all the files.
When that happened I back up those files and save that to my master drive.
Don't lose hope It might happen to you..
I think what happen is when I hide the disk for a couple of weeks the disk itself discharge all the left volts in it.. not sure about that.

Need to find a Hitachi Serial ATA 400 in stock

Hi,

Odds of finding that drive new are slim to none but you can use ANY hard drive of at least same capacity to replace it. In fact as a data recovery specialist I always recommend my customers use several different brand/model drives in their arrays and simply elect to use the smallest one as the size for RAID on the others as this greatly minimizes the chance you will ever have multiple mechanical failures in a short timeframe.

Feel free to replace it with anything 400 or bigger and your raid should be able to assign an appropriate sized partition to the drive while it rebuilds itself.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

STOCK IN ONE POSITION

Try a GPS reset, exit navigation, click on setup, click on GPS reset. then restart navigation. check the gps status screen to make sure you are getting signals. if not, you could have a failed antenna or GPS receiver in the unit.
