I jus bought a universal remote for my HiSense 32inch full hd LCD32v88peu and can't seem to find the code any help pls.

Just buy a facsimile copy remote that is made for your television. They are $20! They don't need programming and in most cases are the same layout as the original.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the ‘device’s brand name list’ in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

"Element" codes could be: Polaroid, MAG, LG, Vizio.
Have you tried "code search" mode on universal remote? If you won't find the luck of those "brands" I suggested, do "code search". Refer to remote's owners manual. I did the same for myself: obtained RCA convertor box, without remote, RCA codes won't work, RCA is out of TV business. By using "code search" I made it work. Then, you may want to do "code retrieval" option, to know the correct code.

Does anyone know where I can get a remote for a Hisense 22" TV? I've bought a universal remote but after reading other people's experiences with the Hisense remote, I'm reluctant to even try it.
