Why has my ds cleared my game off- saying 'game file empty' ?

try holding down the Down or Up Button, Select and B button all at the same time

The game does not provide an option to delete save files and the recommended method is to simply start a new game and overwrite the existing files

Saying that, you can delete save files by purposely corrupting the files (by, say, turning off the DS as the game is saving), although there is a small element of risk as you can end up with a partially corrupted save that you can neither load from or save to

Pu the game in , turn your device on hold A, B, Y, X, L and R. Keep holding it down until it says "Would you like to erase?" also you may need to hold the stylus in your mouth when you press all these buttons start the game and then confirm you like to reset the game , Thanks

Also, try to place the games in the root folder instead of in sub-folders.

Hi grecko, Hope this helps, I've just bought a 4gb memory card for my daughter's ds so she can fit 58-60 games instead of 28 on a 2gb memory card and have downloaded and put a file onto the memory card before loading games onto it.

Supercard DS one have a site where you can download the files you need and it gives help. Guess it's the same if using an R4 supercard too but I bought an R4 card for partner preloaded with software.

Okay, you have to turn on the ds and click on "nintendogs" if the Ds is on manual setup if ... if it isn't ignore this bit xD




When the game is just starting to load you have to hold in L+R+A+B+X+Y...

Just hold them all in and if you have done it right a message should come up saying summet like ..."are you sure you want to erase data" click yeah ..

If this don't work you ain't done it right xD

I clear my game every second day doing this

you either have bad games or problems with the ds had same problem mine was a bad game...

take out all of the games in the ds then the menu should come up then click the little ds picture at the bottom. that will take you to another menu. click on the wrench in the pink box, then click the top box which has an arrow pointing into a box. click the top box which says manual mode then press confirm. the ds will go off then when you turn it on it should go to the menu even with a game in. hope this helps! =)

Is there something wrong with the game cartridge? Like is the case bent or broken?
