I've had my M515 a few years and have loved having it around. I just got a new laptop (my desktop and the new laptop use Windows XP Home). If I do a hard reset, the sync works perfectly (I had to do that for the first sync on the new laptop). Now on subsequent syncs, I get a pop up box from the Outlook program that states "A program is tring to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this ins unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No". I can then allow access (Yes) or deny access (No). I can allow access for up to 10 minutes. If I choose NO, information seems to sync, but I get errors. If I choose YES, the sync seems to get stuck in a loop and doesn't complete the sync. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Download the Outlook Security Add-in from this site: http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/security Advanced Security for Outlook is free for commercial and non-commercial use. I have testet it with Windows XP and Outlook 2002 SP3 syncing with a Palm Zire 31 and it works fine.
