I had to creat a new Outlook user profile when my Tasks folder crashed. My Outlook now works fine, but the synchronization with my Tungsten E seems to be synchronizing with the old profile. I've changed the profile in every location I can find and it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

Create a new profile for yourself in MS Outlook and configure your e-mail account in it. Hopefully this should resolve the problem. _____________________________________________________________________________
Are you using any personal folders (.pst) in Outlook?
If
the asnwer is yes; then were these personal folders created in Outlook
2003 or some earlier version of Outlook? In any case, if the older type
personal folders are large in size, these can cause Outlook 2003 to
stop responding or freezing.
Close MS Outlook; right click on
the MS Outlook icon showing in the startup programs bar and choose
properties; choose 'Show Profiles'; choose copy profile and then choose
this new profile in the 'Always use this profile' option.

Make sure MS Office Outlook is not running. Go to Control Panel. Click on Mail. Click on Show Profiles. Click Add. Give a name to the new profile. Check the Always use this profile radio button and choose the newly created profile below it. Start MS Office Outlook with the new profile.
Perhaps
this problem has many different ways of resolving. For example I've known
some interesting tools for working out like issues, one of the most effective
is the next - outlook
pst repair.
View/Folder in Outlook
Open the Calendar
Click on "GO" on top Toolbar.
Click on "Folder List"
Should show "Pocket Mirror" Folder
( Cant access it from Mail Folder. The instructions are unclear in the Palm Help.) Took me ages to find the above
Even following the instructions by adding the Note in Pocket Mirror with the new handheld name I still get the same error as you and so GOOD LUCK!
yes I moved my files to a new machine and reinstalled palm
(which of course also created the dreaded multiple copies of many palm contacts, when palm discovered older archives, but that is another story!) I wouldn't mind that if the palm pilot would just sync with outlook 2003. It synched with Outlook 2000 on my old machine.
