Can One Update to A Newer Version of Pocket Explorer on a Pocket PC?

If you have recieved messages in the past you need to delete all the old ones the phone can only hold so many at a time.

Have you tryed to restore the device into the original state (hard reset) ?

the touchscreen is most likely damaged if your unable to point and click on the spots it tells you to.

This unit can only recieve SMS messages, it can not send. You can olny send messages through email. I had the same problem and I had to call my service provider who looked it up for me and found this out.

even with a bad battery the pda should work on charger.

Hi, You need "localization" software: it translates system commands as well as provides virtual keybord layout, handwriting recognition. I am using PenReader and Polish Localization done by Paragon Software ( avaliable on Handango) ; they have Spanish version as well. Thaer are other companies which do same sort of software.

I'm not sure if Pocket PC Explorer is like the full Explorer version, but if you go to the Internet Options Control Panel, select the Advanced Tab, Scroll Down to the Multimedia Options and there are selection options for showing pics, playing sounds, etc. Hopefully, Pocket Explorer is similar and all you need to do is activate the option to show pics.
