My Outlook Calendar cannot synchronize to Outlook calendar
I cannot synchronize Outlook to my calendar. It did work for a while but recently failed. I have tried to reset my handheld. Reload the software. I have tried installing PalmOutlook101UpdateENG as well as OutlookConduitUpdater. Each time I end up with the same problem. I am not running any 3rd party software. Any suggestions to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Palm tech fixed my problem.
It turned out some items in Outlook Calendar were corrupted, thus preventing a synch with LifeDrive. The fix is to export the Calendar items and import them. This process fixes corruption. After doing that I successfully synchronized Calendar with LifeDrive.
More specifically. I moved Calendar items to a different folder, thus emptying the main Calendar folder. I exported the Calendar items in the new folder to a CSV (Windows) file. Then, I imported that CSV (Windows) file into the main Calendar folder. Finally,I did a synch and all worked perfectly.
You may have tried Exchange ActiveSync in VersaMail
When you setup an Exchange ActiveSync account in VersaMail, you are asking your Treo to synchronize email and your calendar with an Exchance 2003 server. In order to prevent duplicates, VersaMail disables Calendar synchronization via HotSync while the account exists on your Treo.
So if you are an Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) user, you have a choice; you either sync wirelessly or you can delete the EAS account in VersaMail and can then sync your Calendar via HotSync. You cannot do both unfortunately.
I was ready to give up completely. Uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing worked.
Here is what I did to resolve sync errors:
1. Perform a hard reset on the Palm
2. Go to the Palmone folder on your hard drive (C:\Program Files|PalmOne. Look for the Backup folder. Rename this folder Backup Old.
3. Connect the Treo to your computer.
4. Right click the Hotsync icon in the taskbar and click Custom.
Change the four Outlook conduits (Calendar, Contacts,Tasks,Memos) to Desktop overwrites Handheld.
5. Run a Hotsync with the Treo. It should sync without errors. If you need to install additional applications you can add them now.
This worked for me. I hope it helps with your errors.
Generally this error means that HotSync manager (via the 4 Outlook conduits) is having a hard time connecting to your Outlook or, in some cases, specifically to your Oultook profile.
I was having the same problem, and I used Detect and Repair in Outlook. Now all is working fine. You will need the original CD that you installed from.
Hope this helps as none of the other things that I saw on any sites did until I tried this.
Tryy this -- Go to Chapura.com and purchase the pocket mirror software. I have Sprint service and that additional software has resolved my synch issues.
Click on the hotsync icon in your system tray and then click "custom". That will bring up the list of things you are configured to sync with (conduits). For each of the ones you have problems with, click that conduit and then make sure it's set to sync the way you want...desktop overrides, handheld overrides, syncronize, etc. Potentially you have some of them selected as "do nothing". What shows up when I click custom from hotsync are the following Outlook Conduits: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Memos. If you don't have those showing up, you need to update your Outlook conduits on your PC. If you have them, click to select the problem conduit, then click "change" and select what you want to have happen.
Updated Instructions
Simple fix for a corrupted Date Book sync error (at least it worked for me on my Treo 650).
1). Turn off 'Show Calendar Event' in the Phones 'Options - General Preferences' menu.
2). Turn off phone.
3). Set the Date/Time to the maximum limits (12/31/31) in Preferences.
4). Open the Calendar and view the maximum day 12/31/31.
5). Select 'Purge - (Delete events older then 1 week)' in the Calendars Options menu.
6). Reset the Date/Time to the current day in Preferences.
7). Hotsync (Desktop Calendar overwrites handheld).
8). Hotsync again to make sure you don’t get the error (Synchronize the files).
That’s it.

Hard-reset your Palm to erase all data (that usually involves pushing the small "reset" button on the back, then pressing the "power on" button until the device boots, and then pressing "up" to confirm the hard-reset)
After that, sync your palm. The sync software will ask if you want to use your existing profile or create a new one. Create a new one. Then the program will offer to sync your Outlook profile with your Palm. Click on "ok", and a message asking you to accept to sync your Outlook data with more than one profile will pop-up. Click on OK, again... and that's it!
